What are the key features of the MSK-101 motion sensor?
The MSK is a 12 volt/100ma sensor with two alarm outputs (pre-alarm and alarm that are programmable via a WiFi dongle or laptop). With an operating temperature range of -40 – +158 degrees and IP66 and 68 ratings, the MSK 101 can be used indoors or outdoors, mounted on a wall or ceiling and can be calibrated to ignore small animals.
How do I install the MSK-101 motion sensor?
The MSK 101 is installed much like a Passive Infrared detector but requires calibration to assure coverage areas. Available with relay outputs or power over ethernet, the MSK virtually eliminates false alarms associated with PIR’s and microwave sensors.
Can the MSK-101 sensor be used outdoors?
Yes, the MSK 101 is IP66 and 68 rated so it is virtually water and dust proof. In addition, it utilizes K-Band (24 GHz) so its range will not be reduced by snow or rain.
